The Waterloo Library & Historical Society has announced the fulfillment of a donation pledge by Seneca Meadows, enabling the purchase of a new projector and movie screen for Fatzinger Hall.

SENECA FALLS — For the 18th consecutive year, Seneca Meadows Inc. (SMI) has awarded college scholarships to graduating seniors from the four Seneca County high schools.

This year marks the 40^th year of operations for Seneca Meadows and 18 years of scholarships awarded to graduating seniors entering environmental or conservation fields.

Fatzinger Hall, a historic performance space located on the second floor of the Waterloo Library and Historical Society in Seneca County, is set to reopen today after undergoing extensive renovations since 2021.

WATERLOO — It’s one of this Seneca County community’s hidden gems, and for those who have not seen the second floor of the historic Waterloo Library and Historical Society on the corner of Church and East William streets, today is a good chance to check out the remade space.

Recently, students at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse had the opportunity to supplement their classroom curriculum with a visit to the Seneca Meadows landfill and recycling facilities.
