Woodcock Walk
Please join us at the Seneca Meadows Education Center at 1977 NYS Route 414 in Waterloo NY 13165. We will drive to the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve (1712 Black Brook Road Seneca Falls, NY 13148) and walk about an hour to an hour and a half, listening for “peenting” and watching for the very cool Woodcock breeding display flights. Please dress warmly (in layers) as spring will have just started. It is recommended to bring flashlights. If you don’t have binoculars, we will have some to loan out. Registration is required, even though this is a free event! Please look at the right hand side of this page to register. For any questions and/or more information, please email to fred.leff@audubon.org or text to (315) 956-0462. This is part of a series of the same event, so please keep note of the date.
