Mulch Day Giveaway & Toy Drive

Saturday, May 23rd 7:00-11:00am at Seneca Meadows,  1786 Salcman Road in Waterloo

 

Seneca Meadows essential workers will help load participants’ pick-up trucks, trailers or containers with 2 scoops from a skid steer or hand load 2 containers per household until supplies run out. First come. First served. Supplies are limited. The hardwood mulch available will be black and natural brown and is purchased from a local business. The program is free and exclusively for Seneca County residents only. For safety, participants should stay in their vehicles and follow provided traffic guidelines.

The “Christmas in May” theme in partnership with Waterloo High School Honor Society students to help in the students efforts to collect toys for the Seneca County Community Christmas Project will continue. This partnership will collect toys supporting the Seneca County Community Christmas Project. Seneca Meadows is asking participants for mulch to bring a new unopened toy that Waterloo students will be onsite on Mulch Day to collect from residents. “Christmas in May” is completely voluntary. A toy is not required to receive free mulch, but it is very much appreciated.
