Bird Walk by Snowshoeing

We will be having a bird walk (and if there is enough snow on the ground–snowshoeing) at the Seneca Meadows locations.  We will meet at the Seneca Meadows Education Center (1977 NYS Route 414 Waterloo, NY 13165) at 10:30 to set attendees up with snowshoes.  We will then drive to the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve (1712 Black Brook Road Seneca Falls, NY 13148) to take a 1 and 1/2 mile to 2 miles (Round Trip) walk to see the first ever Bald Eagle nest to be observed at this location.  Please dress for the weather with hats, gloves, ski pants (or similar), and boots (If there is not enough snow, the trails may be very wet and slippery).  If you have any questions, please call (315) 539-5089 and leave a detailed message, or email to fred.leff@audubon.org
