Bird Walk at Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve

Please celebrate the spring migration with a bird walk at the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve.  This is a free, very early in the morning event and all individuals, families, and groups are welcome.  Spring migration should be in high gear and we should expect to see many passerines, possibly some raptors, herons, waterfowl, and maybe some surprises.  Historically, 5/18 has decent weather and be prepared with insect repellent, a water bottle, a hat, and we will send out messages regarding the trail conditions as we get closer to the date.  We will have a spotting scope as well.  We do have a relatively new (this year) eagle nest and we can hope to see an eaglet.  If you need binoculars, we have several to loan out and please reply to fred.leff@audubon.org if you need one.  Please register on the right hand side of this message.  If you have questions and/or need more information, please call (315) 539-5089 and leave a detailed message or email to fred.leff@audubon.org
